Field Inspection Tour : Rakhine State CM made field inspection tour in Kyaukphyu

Rakhine State Chief Minister U Naing Oo, together with the Deputy Speaker of the Rakhine State Hluttaw, members of the state government, and departmental officials, conducted field inspections of regional development activities in Kyaukphyu Township on July 31st.

First, the Chief Minister and officials toured the Myoma market to observe vendors and shoppers peacefully conducting business, and cordially greeted and exchanged conversations with the market-goers.

Afterward, the Chief Minister and officials attended the opening ceremony of the monsoon-season inter-school football tournament, inter-school men's and women's volleyball tournaments, and Sepaktakraw competitions, organized by the District Sports and Physical Education Department at the Myoma sports ground.

The Chief Minister delivered an opening speech, watched and cheered for the football matches, and inspected the completed renovations of the sports hall.

Next, the Chief Minister and officials visited the Kyaukphyu Township and District Agriculture Department offices to inspect the planned activities for the 2026–2027 fiscal year, as well as the proposed projects at U Uttama Park in Kyaukphyu Township. The Chief Minister coordinated with relevant officials on necessary matters.

On August 1, the Chief Minister and officials attended a ceremony held at the Naga Kyaung  Pariyatti Sarthintaik  monastery  in Kyaukphyu Township, organized by the Rakhine State Government, to offer Waso robes and alms to the venerable Sayadaws in Kyaukphyu. They offered Waso robes, rice offerings, and other donation items.

Subsequently, the Chief Minister and officials visited the Kyaukphyu District People’s Hospital, the soft-shell crab farming operations near Saichon  Village, inspected the sturdiness of the Ngale Pwè  saltwater barrier structures, and visited Kyaukphyu Education College. The Chief Minister provided necessary guidance and instructions to officials.

Afterward, the Chief Minister and officials inspected road and bridge conditions from Thaingchaung Junction to Thitpuktaung  Village to ensure their durability and reviewed plans for further improvements.

They also visited the branch middle school in Thitpuktaung  Village, warmly meeting and greeting the teachers, and inspected the premises to discuss expansion of school buildings and measures for maintaining a clean and pleasant school environment. Necessary coordination was made with responsible officials regarding these matters, it’s reported.
