Field Inspection Tour: Rakhine State CM made a field inspection tour

Rakhine State Chief Minister, U Naing Oo, toured and encouraged the cleanliness and beautification efforts carried out under the Rakhine State Government's program at basic education schools in Sittwe Township Tuesday morning, as well as the peaceful learning environment of the students. They also conducted field inspections of sites for regional development projects.

The Chief Minister and officials visited Basic Education Primary School (U-Yin Thar), Basic Education Middle School No. 9, Narikan Village Basic Education Primary School, and Basic Education High School No. 10 (Thakyepyingone). They inspected the cleanliness and beautification of the school premises and surroundings, the proper and adequate functionality of toilets for students, the structural safety of all classrooms, and the availability of clean drinking water. They also observed and encouraged the students as they studied peacefully.

Subsequently, the Chief Minister and officials also toured and encouraged the administration of supplementary Measles and Rubella (MR) vaccines to children under 15 years of age by township health department staff at Maung Ni Pyin Village Rural Health Sub-Center; visited Thakyepyin Village Tract Station Hospital to encourage patients receiving medical care; and visited Dapaing Village Rural Health Center to observe the monthly routine vaccination of pregnant mothers and health awareness talks, providing necessary guidance to responsible officials.

After that, the Chief Minister and officials inspected the structural condition of the temporary steel Bailey bridge on the Zawpugyar-Maung Ni Pyin Village road. They also conducted site inspections for a livestock breeding project site at Narikan Village and for a road construction project to Thinganet Village, coordinating necessary matters with responsible officials.

Then, the Chief Minister and officials toured the proposed site for livestock breeding activities within the Sittwe Pedigree Seed Farm and issued necessary instructions to responsible officials, it’s reported.
