Exchange Views: MoH Union Minister Received Indian Ambassador

The Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khaing Win received an Indian delegation led by the Ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Vinay Kumar at the ministry in the afternoon on April 6.

At the meeting, the union minister expressed thanks for the donation of medicines and medical equipments especially donation of COVID-19 vaccines and helping in purchasing of vaccines by the India government and the people and the union minister and Indian ambassador cordially exchanged views on cooperation in monitoring the communicable diseases such as COVID-19, collaboration in the advanced medical training courses such as liver transplanting for the development of human resources in medical sector, more cooperation in medical research works and the working together to prevent and combat the global infectious diseases with the bilateral friendship relation.
