Exchange of views on global & regional issues

The Foreign Ministers of BRICS Member Countries exchanged views on global and regional issues of mutual interest on day two of the BRICS Foreign Ministers' Meeting in New Delhi on Friday. Addressing the opening session on the second day meeting, External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar said that India remains committed to working with all partners in advancing the goal of reformed and effective multilateralism.

Jaishankar added that the breadth of this engagement reflects the importance that all leaders attach to strengthening multilateral cooperation in a rapidly changing world. He further said that there is an urgent need to reform the international financial architecture.
