EU Parliament chief meets Zelenskyy in Kyiv

European Parliament President Roberta Metsola thanked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for fighting "fundamental principles that this continent have for so many centuries defended" during her visit to Kyiv on Friday. Zelenskyy said he was grateful that the European Parliament delegation traveled to Ukraine during the conflict. Metsola said Ukraine was considered a part of the European family.
