Ethnic Affairs: MOEA holds a coordination meeting

The Ministry of Ethnic Affairs held a coordination meeting on 29 May at the Ministry’s conference hall. 

Union Minister U Than Maung explained ministry’s history, ethnic nationalities rights law, organizational structure, vision, policies and duties. He also reviewed Yangon National Races Village renovation measure and registration of Ethnic Literature and Culture Associations.

Deputy Minister U Sai Tun Nyo also discussed matters related to vocational training center implementation, land management, subsidy provision, cultural exchange field trips, appointment of Teaching Assistant and Language Teacher and ministry roadmaps. Attendees reported on the work undertakings and future plan, and the Union Minister coordinated dthe needs.
