


The Sagaing Region Environment Conservation Capacity Building Training Course (2/2022) was concluded at the office of the Region Environmental Conservation Department on Friday with the attendance of Sagaing Region Chief Minister U MyatKyaw.
At the meeting, the Region Chief Minister said that as the earth is mainly made up of natural environment, the conservation of environment plays a key role. Along with increasing population and throwing waste materials, it needs to solve the problems to lessenenvironmental worsening from all sectors.
The State Administration Council is prioritizing to greening of the state-owned forests, conserving the country’s natural resources and rebalance of climate change and the Sagaing Region Government is also emphasizing on the impact of environment in implementing regional development.
The Chief Minister called on the trainees for solving environmental issues after understanding laws, bylaws and procedures relating to the environment and to serve dutifully the state responsibilities by applying the knowledge in the practical field.
The Region Minister for Natural Resources presented prizes to winning groups in compiling the paper and the Region Chief Minister also presented certificates of honour and cash awards to outstanding trainees and cordially greeted them.
The Region Environment Conservation Capacity Building Training Course was conducted for 1 month starting from 13th July and 32 staffs who will serve in districts and townships ofthe Region attended the course.
