Enhancing Cooperation: Receiving the IOM delegation

Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khaing Win on Thursday met with Ms. Ugochi Daniels, Deputy Director General for Operations at the International Organization for Migration (IOM) headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.

The two sides discussed signing a memorandum of understanding, expanding cooperation on HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, maternal and child health, and healthcare services for migrants. They also reviewed IOM's support for emergency response and recovery efforts following the Mandalay earthquake.
