Energy Development: Meeting with Qatari delegation

Union Minister for Energy U Ko Ko Lwin received a delegation led by Dr. Khalid Bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, Former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs of Qatar at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.

During the Meeting, they discussed matters on investment in energy sector and cooperation in Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) sector. The meeting also focused on creating opportunities for importing natural gas to China and South East Asia countries, implementing Myanmar as LNG Trading Hub. They cordially exchanged views on Myanmar-Qatar cooperation in energy sector.
