Encouraging Retirees: Kayah State CM provided healthcare and food supplies

The monthly pension payments for retired civil servants have been regularly carried out at the Myanma Economic Bank (Loikaw) branch in Kayah State. On the morning of September 22, the State Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin, along with members of the state government and officials, visited to observe and support the pension payment process and distributed basic food supplies.

First, the State Chief Minister and officials toured the Myanma Economic Bank (Loikaw) branch to observe and encourage the staff who were disbursing pension payments to retired civil servants, exchanging friendly greetings.

The State Chief Minister instructed the responsible personnel to manage the pension payment operations systematically to prevent any delays.

Subsequently, retired civil servants who came to receive their pensions were examined and provided healthcare services by specialists and health workers from the State Public Health Department and the State General Hospital. They were tested and treated for bone, eye, ear, nose, throat, and general diseases, and the officials toured to encourage these healthcare activities.

Afterwards, the State Chief Minister and officials distributed rice, cooking oil, eggs, and lunch meals to the retired civil servants.

The basic food supplies such as rice, cooking oil, and eggs were distributed to 300 retired civil servants who came to collect their pension payments at Myanma Economic Bank (Loikaw) branch, it’s reported.
