Encouraging Athletes: MOC to compete 5 types of sports in SAC Chairman’s Cup

Hailing the 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Independence Day, the State Administration Council Chairman’s Cup Sports Competition will be held under the guidance of the Prime Minister.

The Ministry of Construction plans to participate in the competition with 5 types of sports, Football, Volleyball, Sepak Takraw, Htou-Hsi-Tou and Futsal.

On Saturday, Union Minister U Shwe Lay met with the athletes of the ministry who are undergoing training for the competition. He said it is a special opportunity to participate in the Diamond Jubilee celebration of the Independence Day, and urged the athletes to try their best, upholding the sports spirit. The Union Minister also provided nutrition supplements to the athletes.
