Electricity Issue: Meeting On Electricity Distribution In Yangon Region

Union Minister for Electricity and Energy U Aung Than Oo addressed a meeting on electricity distribution in Yangon Region.

In the meeting at the Yangon Region Goverment Office, the Union Minister stressed repair of 22 destructed power distribution towers to distribute 22 MW from Biluchaung (Lawpita) hydropower plants, works to turn the LNG to Power Plant into Gas to Power Plant in Kyaukphyu area to generate 150 MW and plans to generate more 714 MW. Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and attendees made discussions on the electricity distribution in Yangon Region.
