Electricity Bill Exemption: 75 Units From Domestic Consumption Will Be Deducted From June 1-15

75 units from domestic consumption between the dates of 1st to 15th June 2020 for residential homes, religious buildings, and domestic humanitarian groups (excluding embassies, UN agencies and international organizations) will be deducted from the electricity bill for those dates.

According to the announcement by the Ministry of Electricity and Energy on 9th June, it is learnt that the domestic consumption of 76 units and above will have to be paid at the designated rates as normal.

With the exception of domestic civil society organizations under non-governmental organizations in the non-domestic consumption category, all other consumers will have to pay the electricity rate at the normal designated price.
