Electricity and Natural Gas: Repair of tower and gas distribution inspected

Union Minister for Electric Power and Energy U Thaung Han, together with officials, on 30th July, inspected the repairing of Tower No. 613 on 230 KV Mansi-ShweSarYan National Grid.

The officials reported on the cause of damage, and the Union Minister instructed for speedy completion of the repair works for providing sufficient power supply to the public and to prioritize for worksite safety.

The Union Minister and party later arrived at Central Control Station for Southeast Asia Oil and Natural Gas Pipeline (Mandalay), which controls the distribution of oil and natural gas from Shwe natural gas project and Madae Island Fuel Storage Tank.

The Union Minister urged to strive for increase extraction of natural gas for domestic use so as to generate more electricity. He later inspected the control center, and distribution of oil and natural gas.
