For the free and fair multi-party democracy general election, which will be held on December 28, 2025, a ceremony for the installation of election awareness-raising billboards for the public to support the successful holding of the 2025 general election was held on Tuesday in front of the Bo Gyoke Park on Bo Gyoke Road, Magway. Attending the event were Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin, Tatmadaw Senior officials from Magway Military station, region ministers, department heads and staff, and voters.

Firstly, Chief Minister U Tint Lwin said that by installing such election awareness-raising billboards, voters will be better informed about the voting dates and will become more interested in the General election. In a democratic system, only free and fair elections can truly reflect the people's will. Therefore, the State and the public should cooperate to successfully complete the 2025 multi-party democracy general election. He urged everyone to vote according to the slogan “Vote freely and fairly” and called on the state, political parties, and the public to work hand in hand to ensure the successful holding of the election.

Subsequently, Chief Minister U Tint Lwin, region government officials, and Chairman of the Magway Region Sub Election Commission U Khin Maung Myint jointly cut the ribbon to inaugurate the election awareness-raising billboards and took a group commemorative photo.

Similarly, election awareness raising billboards have been installed at eight other locations in Magway and 37 locations across 19 townships within the region to support the successful conduct of the 2025 General Election for all parties. It is reported that these billboards were set up simultaneously to assist the public with election awareness and encouragement.
