Elderly housing project in Macau

Social service organizations in Macau of China said that since the publication of the application criteria, elderly residents have been asking them for information about the government's elderly housing project such as application criteria, rent prices and facilities.
According to Social service organizations, by conducting activities that will be run by the clubhouse, health promotion events will be held to enable them to acquire more health knowledge and ways to stay healthy.
On the other hand, for elderly who are physically frail, there are some coordinated resources mentioned, such as nursing personnel who provide nursing services to seniors or take care of them. The authority added that charges for services could vary, but said that the government would keep the measures under review and improve them once the elderly housing units are up and running.
