In Nghia Lo town of Viet Nam, the number of Thai Xoe artisans voluntarily visited schools and worked with teachers to instruct students in practicing Thai Xoe during break times.

UNESCO had inscribed the art of Thai Xòe dance on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. This tradition is considered a powerful bond that connects communities and lies at the heart of the cultural identity of the Thai people in Vietnam’s northwestern region. With dedication and pride, Thai Xoe artisans were helping younger generations learn, practice and preserve the heritage handed down by their ancestors.
