Egypt's Sisi meets EU Commissioner for the Mediterranean in Cairo

Egypt's President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi met with EU commissioner for the Mediterranean in Cairo.

The meeting discussed the truce deal between Hamas and Israel and the efforts to implement it, the exchange of hostages and detainees, the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza and the reconstruction of the Strip without displacing Palestinians. Egypt is set to host a meeting of Arab foreign ministers on Monday, ahead of a Tuesday summit where Arab leaders are due to discuss a reconstruction plan for Gaza.
