Efforts For Rakhine State: Union Minister For Construction Meets With Officials

Union Minister for Construction U Shwe Lay held a meeting with concerned officials from Rakhine State building, road, bridge, urban, housing and rural road development departments.

In this meeting at the Department of Road in Sittwe, the Union Minister urged the attendees to continue the projects and adhere to the COVID-19 prevention guidelines. Pledging to provide assistance, he also stressed importance of quality and timely construction and maintenance as well as disaster preparedness and adherence to ethics, rules and regulations. Also, the Union Minister expressed words of thanks to the officials for their unity, duty and works in Rakhine State. This meeting continued with giving necessary instructions and discussing on reports. The Union Minister on Monday inspected Set Yoe Kya Bridge, stressed importance of maintenance and gave necessary instructions.
