Efforts For Public: Ministry Of Information Opens Community Center

Ministry of Information on Friday opened a new community center in Natmauk Township to honour the 77th Armed Forces Day.

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn and many other concerned officials ceremonially opened this new community center in Magway Region.

In his speech, the Union Minister also stressed the importance of community center and libraries for the public. Construction of this new community center cost over 414 million Kyats from the union budget and Magway Region Government provided aid worth 50 million Kyats.

He also called for maintenance of the building. Also, the Union Minister provided 1,000 MRTV DVB –T2 Set Top boxes, viewed around the community center and gave gifts to children.

The Union Minister also visited Bogyoke Aung San Museum and Natmauk People’s Hospital to provide foodstuffs and cash to patients. Also, he paid homage to the Mann Shwe Settaw Pagoda and donated cash.

The Union Minister also visited the Minbu MRTV re-transmission station and held talks with the officials and staff. Later the day, the Union Minister met with Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin and discussed regional development works.
