Efforts for Investment: Union Minister Meets with Concerned Officials in Sagaing

Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, Vice-Chairman of Myanmar Investment Commission U Aung Naing Oo met with Chairman and members of Sagaing Region Administration Council and Sagaing Region Investment Committee on Saturday.

In the meeting at the Sagaing Region Administration Council’s Office in Monywa, the Union Minister stressed measures for smooth investment, works to be in line with Myanmar Investment Law, Rules and procedures, a mechanism for monitoring the permitted investments and plans for smooth local products manufacturing and services as well as for investment-friendly areas.

Also, the Chairman of Sagaing Region Administration Council and Sagaing Region Investment Committee U Maung Maung Lin discussed plans pertaining to investment activities in the region and investment promotion.

The Union Minister also visited the District-level Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, looked at work processes, met with staff and fulfilled requirements.

Also, the Union Minister visited local investment NCY International Co., Ltd. in Monywa Industrial Zone, heard reports on work processes and difficulties, and coordinated the matters.

During his stay in Monywa, the Union Minister met with entrepreneurs in the Region and solved difficulties the entrepreneurs are facing.
