U-25 Sepak takraw competition: Mon State CM attended opening ceremony

The opening ceremony of 2024 Mon State Government Chief Minister’s Trophy 10 Townships U-25 Men and Women Sepaktakraw competition was held at the State sports hall in Mawlamyaing Township in the morning on 25th April and attended by the Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein, Chief Justice of State High Court, State Ministers, departmental officials and sports enthusiasts.

First, the Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein gave words of encouragement for the athletes, clarified the objectives of organizing 10 Townships U-25 Men and Women Sepaktakraw competition and gave necessary instructions to the athletes, judges and referees.

After reciting sports vows by the contestant teams, Chief Minister provided cash of honor to the drum and bugle group and signpost bearers and watched that men triple event between Mawlamyaing Township team and Mudon Township team.

2024 Mon State Government Chief Minister’s Trophy 10 Townships U-25 Men and Women Sepaktakraw competition will be held from 25th to 29th April, it’s learnt.
