


Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe attended the opening of basic electrical course at Thaw Hmaw Kone Village which is part of the Smart Village project in Lawei Township area.
In his address, the Union Minister said that giving this course is part of the Ministry’s efforts for regional development and pledged to provide assistance to those who want to run business after completing the course. He also urged the residents to work together to make the village a Smart Village.
Also, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman stressed the State Administration Council’s efforts for socioeconomic development of the rural people by providing electricity as well.
After the ceremony, in the Village, the Union Minister observed loan disbursement under the Emerald Green Project, hog farming under the cooperative system and domestic soaps business before inspecting the post primary school and fulfilling the requirements.
