Efforts for Agricultural Development: CM visits paddy farms and provides fertilizer

Bago Region Government has been making efforts for agricultural sector development in the region.

On Tuesday, in Daik-U Township, Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win visited the Pauk Ta Pin Farm in Nyaunglaybin District and heard explanation on the farm by an official. He also provided 202 bags of fertilizer for 84 paddy farmers from Phaung Taw Ti, Byaing Chal and KaTokeBaYaGyi village-tracts.

The Chief Minister also coordinated with concerned officials for trip crop cultivation, pure strains, irrigation and poultry farming. Also, he inspected the 65-acre paddy farm to provide seeds for farmers.

He also visited the 10-acre paddy farm for seeds production in PyinMaLwin Village-tract and called on concerned officials to conduct a campaign about the use of natural fertilizers among the farmers and to provide pure strains. On the same day, the Chief Minister visited a dairy farm in KyaikSaKaw [East] Village and provided farm-related aid.
