Education Sector: Union Minister Inspects Universities in Mandalay

Union Minister for Education Dr. Chaw Chaw Sein accompanied by Deputy Ministers and concerned officials visited Yadanabon University in Mandalay Region on 3rd October. There, the Union Minister and party oversaw the extracurricular activities  and posters and observed Distance education students taking exams.

During the meeting with the rector, pro rectors and faculty members, the Union Minister instructed on providing welcoming and convenience learning environment for the students, accelerating project and library based learning system, implementing better distance education system by holding sector-wise meetings as well as the strict adherence to Myanmar tradition and culture.

Subsequently, the Union Minister and party proceeded to Mandalay University and oversaw the preparations and rehearsal performances for the centenary celebration of the Mandalay University.
