Education Sector: Senior General Visits Dawei University

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing on Friday visited Dawei University and heard reports on matters including information on the University, staff appointment, COVID-19 vaccination programme and buildings and sport stadium construction.

In his response, the Senior General stressed the important role of university in education sector for the development of a nation. Pledging to provide assistance, he also called for cooperation and preparations to make them get interest in the university education.

Also, the Senior General praised the efforts of tutors before inspecting the University. Also, the Senior General visited Seik Kan Thar Park in Dawei, heard reports and gave necessary instructions. The Senior General also inspected a jetty in Kyet Sar Pyin Ward and gave instructions for the jetty upgrade and regional development works.
