Education Sector: Coordination Meeting On Nurturing Educated Population Held

The Union Minister for Education Dr. Nyunt Pe said that nurturing educated population and having rich educated human resources can achieve with the collective efforts and abilities, at the coordination meeting on nurturing educated population by the Ministry of Education held in Nay Pyi Taw on 16th August.

The capacity building of human resources including the teachers and those who operate in administrative role in the education field should be carried out to nurture the students to be the educated population. The experienced and senior teachers are urged to give refresher course for the junior teachers to become the competent teachers. Students are to be taught and trained under the quality curriculum with the required teaching aid technologies.

It’s needed to promote the access of studying for the students. The monastic education schools should be encouraged to upgrade from the primary school level to the middle school level. It’s also needed to promote and support the outside school education from the primary to the middle school level.

The free education is being implemented for every citizen to complete at least middle school education. The short and long term plans to increase educated population in the country are being implemented and put on the right track as much as possible. After giving necessary suggestions by the participants, the union minister coordinated requirements.
