Dusting of snow in Edinburgh as UK braces for cold snap

A cold arctic blast has swept into the UK, bringing widespread frost and more snow to parts of Scotland. Drone footage shows a light dusting of snow on the Merchants of Edinburgh Golf Club and snow-capped surrounding hills.

Temperatures dropped overnight ahead of a bitterly cold weekend that could see "significant snow" and blizzard-like conditions. Yellow weather warnings have been issued by the Met Office impacting much of the country in the coming days.
