Drug Seizures: Heroin, Raw Opium, Thousands Of Stimulant Tablets Seized

Heroin, raw opium and thousands of stimulant tablets were seized, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs.

18.7 kilograms of heroin and 47 kilograms of raw opium were seized in Taungoo - a man was arrested for possession of the drugs. 0.24 kilogram of heroin and 13,650 stimulant tablets were seized in Hpakant Township area – 2 men were arrested along with the seizure.

8,770 stimulant tablets were seized in Patheingyi Township area – a man was arrested for the case. Also, 440 grams of heroin and 5,850 stimulant tablets were seized in Myitkyina – a woman was arrested along with the seizure.
