Drug Seizures: Heroin, Ice Confiscated In Moe Mauk And Loi Lin

A combined team comprising Anti-Drug Squad Unit-1 from Bhamo seized 2.2 kilos of heroin at a street value of 220 million kyats while searching a Parado car at Kyauk Sa Khan Inspection gate in Moe Mauk Township on 17th August, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The police also found 1.25 million kyats and 2 mobiles on a car.

Likewise, a combined team of Anti-Drug Squad Unit-27 from Loi Lin searched a ISUZU car driven by Sai Aung Naing Tun near Hoe Tint village on Loi Lin-Taunggyi motor road in Loi Lin  Township on 16th of August. Police seized 501 kilos of ICE at a street value of 1.25 billion kyats, 400,000 kyats and 2 mobiles on the car.

Concerning those cases, actions were taken against to the suspects under the Narcotic Drug and Psychotropic Substances Law.
