Drug Seizure: Over 590 million worth narcotic drugs seized in Myitkyina

Over 590 million worth narcotic drugs have been seized in Myitkyina of Kachin State, according to the Myanmar Police Force. A combined team comprised with the members of Anti-narcotics Task Force, acting on a tip-off, searched the house in MyiThitGyi (JanMaiKaung) – Ward on January 4th.

They seized 3.75 kilos of heroin and 3.36 stimulant tablets which worth over 590 million kyats. A suspect was also arrested and filed a lawsuit in line with the law. Further investigations are underway.
