Drug Seizure : K3.36 billion worth drug seized in MongPyin Township

420 kilos of ICE (methamphetamine) worth 3.36 billion kyats were seized in MongPyin Township on August 30. Acting on a tip-off, a combined team of Anti-Narcotic Task Force stopped a Toyota Kluger driven by Sai Oo Thi La @ Sai Ywat near NarYont  village, HaungKan  village tract, while the vehicle was traveling from MatMarn Township to MongPyin Township.

The drugs, transported from TarkawLay  village in MatMarn  Township, were confiscated, and the suspect was arrested. Authorities confirmed that legal action is underway and investigations continue to identify others involved in the trafficking.
