Drug Seizure: Heroin worth over 280 million Kyats seized

Illegal drug was seized in eastern Shan State.

In Tachileik Township area of the state, 18.9 kilograms of heroin worth over 280 million Kyats destined for the Myanmar-Laos border were seized. 2 men were arrested along with the seizure. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken against the 5 suspects under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
