Donation from Thailand: Equipment for Yezin Agricultural University

The ceremony for the donation of teaching and office equipment from the Royal Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Project of Thailand was held on Thursday afternoon at the Yezin Agricultural University.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr. Tin Htut, Ambassador of Thailand to Myanmar Mr. Mongkol Visitstump and many other concerned officials. At the ceremony, the Deputy Minister stated that education is the foundation for the development of a nation.

He expressed his special gratitude to the Thai Embassy and Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn for offering assistance to aid in the restoration and development of the educational operations of the Agricultural University following the damage caused by the recent severe earthquake.

Afterwards, officials from the Royal Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Project of Thailand presented the teaching equipment. It is reported that the donation of equipment, including computers, projectors and related accessories from the Royal Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Project of Thailand is a great help for the restoration and development of the university's educational activities during the renovation period.
