Donation Of Masks: Chinese Embassy Donated N95 And Surgical Masks

The donation ceremony of N95 Masks and Surgical Masks was held at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Myanmar at 10 a.m. on 15th March, 2022.

Present at the ceremony were the Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Chen Hai, Chairman of Myanmar Chinese Buddhism & Friendship Exchange Association U Kyaw Win (Senior Chairman of Shwe Than Lwin Co., Ltd) and members and the embassy staff. During the ceremony, the Ambassador and the Chairman of Myanmar Chinese Buddhism & Friendship Exchange Association exchanged views on the people to people friendship relation between the two countries, cultural exchange and extended words of thanks for the assistance of medicines and medical equipments providing by the people and the government of the People’s Republic of China.

Then, the Ambassador donated 89,600 N95 Masks and 270,000 surgical masks and the Chairman of Myanmar Chinese Buddhism & Friendship Exchange Association accepted the donations and presented certificate of honor to the ambassador.

The donated masks will be distributed to the monasteries, nunneries, homes for the aged and the homes for the orphanage around the country to prevent the spreading of COVID-19.
