







Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe and officials attended the event for the distribution of fertilizers on a crop-yield-based system to monsoon paddy farmers not covered by the State Economic Promotion Fund in Sagaing on 3rd September.
On the occasion, Region Transports Minister made discussion on region government’s efforts in the meeting of targeted yields. Next, the Union Minister stated the aim of distributing the fertilizers on a crop-yield-based system is for the farmers who cannot provide the capital immediately.
The targeted yields will only be met by the use of the crop-yield-based system, only then the socio-economic standards of the farmers will be developed. In addition, the state’s economy will then be up-lifted. After that, the Union Minister coordinated upon the farmers’ reports.
Then, the ministers of region government and officials provided Urea and Compound on crop-yield-based fertilizers to the farmers. Next, the Union Minister and party inspected the buildings of Cooperatives and Management University (Sagaing) which were affected by the Mandalay earthquake and the Union Minister coordinated the needs.
In meeting with the final-year students and teachers, the Union Minister coordinated the requirements upon the reports. After that, the Union Minister and party looked into Saunder’s Weaving Institute in Amarapura Township, Mandalay where the Principal made clarifications on the training courses upon which the Union Minister coordinated the needs.
The Union Minister then inspected the reconstruction processes of the quake-effected buildings and different kinds of weaving courses. On arrival at Cooperative Accounting and Vocational Training Centre (Mandalay), the Union Minister and party inspected the construction of the 3-storey dormitory for trainees where they coordinated the needs.
