Diplomatic Coffee Morning: Strengthening engagement and cooperation

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized a Diplomatic Coffee Morning at its premises in Yangon on Saturday, which brought together Ambassadors, Chargés d’Affaires, and diplomats from foreign embassies based in Yangon, as well as representatives from the United Nations agencies.

Deputy Minister U KoKo Kyaw stated that this event was organized with the aim of strengthening engagement and cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and foreign embassies as well as the United Nations agencies based in Yangon.

Furthermore, the Deputy Minister stated that the new Government democratically elected by the people assumed office on 10 April 2026. He mentioned that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will enhance international relations, and expressed hope that the international community will extend constructive support and cooperation to ensure greater effectiveness and success in the country’s ongoing efforts toward the democratic path, peace, stability, and development.
