Digital Development: Russia-ASEAN Business Dialogue

Myanmar delegation led by Deputy Minister for Digital Development and Communication U Min Zeyar Hlaing attended the Russia-ASEAN Business Dialogue at the Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok on Wednesday.

Moderated by Mr. Sergey Katyrin, President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the discussion focused on Russia-ASEAN cooperation matters and future plans. Deputy Minister U Min Zeyar Hlaing discussed about the establishing of the Ministry of Digital Development and Communication in Myanmar to engage digital transitions in the country.

The Deputy Minister called for collaboration with Russia in digital infrastructures, digital security, smart city, digital governance system, people-centered digital services, human resource development and innovation as well as plan to construct Myanmar’s first Cyber City.
