Dhamapuja Ceremony: Rakhine State Government Organizes The Event

The new year DhamaPuja ceremony or­ganized by the Rakhine State Government commenced at the SasanaBeikman of Lawka Nanda Pagoda in Sittway on the evening of 1stJanuary.

The congregation led by Rakhine State Chief Minister Dr. Aung Kyaw Min received the Five Precepts from Ti-ni- Siman Oak Choke Hmue MahaNayaka Sayadaw.

Then, RammaWadi Sayadaw BuddhantaEaindra Para delivered a sermon.

After the first day event, the State Chief Minister presented 1 million kyats donated by theRakhine State government.

The wife of the Western Command Commander donated cash contributed by Sittway Station and the Rakhine State Minister for Economy donated cash contributed by congregation. On the first day of DhamaPuja ceremony, RammaWadi Sayadaw BuddhantaEaindra Para delivered religious sermons.

DhammaSariya Universities and DhammaSariya U Yin Monastery Patron Sayadaw delivered sermons on the 2nd day event and Vimala  DhammaDhana (DatLae) monastery Sayadaw on the 3rd day event, respectively.
