Development Works: Sports facilities and education promotion efforts

Rakhine State Chief Minister U Naing Oo, accompanied by concerned officials, made field inspection on Wai Tha Li Sports Ground in Sittwe on May 5th to oversee the construction progress of multi-purpose sports stadium. After hearing reports by the officials, the Chief Minister gave necessary instructions and coordinated the requierment.

The Chief Minister also instsructed for systematic renovation of sports ground and sport facilities which were damaged by Cyclone Mocha. The Chief Minister visited to the State Department of Social Welfare where state level multiplier discussion on early childhood care and development of KG and Grade-1 level education system was held. The Chief Minister said that the government increased fund allowance for KG+9 free education system while making efforts for the development of education sector.
