Development Works: Shan State CM Makes Inspection In MongTong

Shan State Chief Minister Dr Kyaw Tun and officials inspected Myanmar-Thai border gate (Bp1) in PonPaKyin of MongTong Township in Shan State (East) on January 7th.

They later visited HuiAw Rubber Factory and inspected the production process. The factory produced 15 tons of rubber a day, and the products are exported to Thailand. The factory starts its operation in 2016, and is now running four factories. The Chief Minister later inspected garlic plantations in NamHuHhun Village.

In meeting with officials from Wa Special Region, the Chief Minister heard reports on regional development. They later inspected NarKaungMuu Basic Education High School in MongTong Township. The Chief Minister later attended the ceremony to provide COVID-19 preventive items at township General Administrative Department and presented 1 million kyats assistance and facemasks.
