Development Work: Chief Minister tours in Shan State (South)

Shan State Chief Minister U Sai Htein Soe on May 15 visited Kali People's Hospital in Kunhein Township of Shan State (South). He met with the health staff, coordinated the needs and provided nutritious supplements to the patients.

The Chief Minister also encouraged local Shan paper business in Wein Nan Village. On the 16, the Chief Minister met with Hluttaw representatives, departmental personnel and townselders in Namtsam and discussed for regional development works. They also visited piggery farm in Wanpon Village, and provided assistance.

In Namtsam Village-tract, the Chief Minister attended a ceremony to provide monsoon crop seeds and fertilizers and urged farmers to strive for boosting targeted yield. They also viewed the thriving plantations of soybean.

In Loilem District, the Chief Minister met with Hluttaw representatives, departmental personnel and townshelders and coordinated the needs for regional development. They later joined a ceremony to provide loan disbursement for monsoon paddy plantation and given out 300,000 kyat per acre loans to farmers.
