Development Of Small Scale Industries: Weaving and Vocational Training School in Myitkyina Inspected

Deputy Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Myint Soe and officials met Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan at the State Government Office on Wednesday.
At the meeting, they discussed implementation of smart villages by the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development and production of natural fertilizers by the Shan State Cooperatives Sydicate and the Nay Pyi Taw Sanwati Cooperative Society and reported cultivation of crops and summer paddy model plantations.
Later, the Deputy Minister and party observed hand loom weaving process and weaving with machines that are learned practically by the trainees at the Weaving and Vocational Training School of the Small Scale Industries Department in Myitkyina and provided cash for the trainees and inspected hostels as well as fulfilled the needs.
The Deputy Minister and party then met with the staff at the State Small Scale Industries Department Office and called for working together to achieve the policies and objectives of the Minisitry in line with the civil service rules.
