



Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with the Chief Ministers of Regions and States at SAC Chairman Office in Nay Pyi Taw on Sunday.
Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing expressed thanks for successful holding of Diamond Jubilee Union Day Celebration with the demonstration of development undertakings at respective regions and states despite challenges. It has been documented as a new chapter of unity as the celebration has been held in grand manner with the harmonious efforts of departmental staff.
He added that the Government is implementing for prosperity of the country with food sufficiency as a priority fact, followed by the establishment of a union based on democracy and federal system and building a defence system that can fully provide security of the country. These processes have to be implemented with the harmonious efforts of all citizens and the requirements will be provided by the Government.
He stressed that among the more than 55 million populations, over 37 million are 18 years and above, and thus the country has abundant human resources for development of a nation with the favourable resources of mineral and farmlands. He also pointed out to prioritize for education promotion and urged the Chief Ministers to emphasize for pursuing education of all students.
Only when the education standard was promoted, the socio-economic status of people could be developed along with the healthy lifestyle. He also stressed for effective use of land and water resources, systematic implementation of agriculture and livestock breeding, seeking ways to generate solar power energy for rural people, and establishing the mechanized farming system as well as boosting production of local products.
The Chief Ministers later reported on development undertakings, implementation for regional peace and rule of law, opening of schools and universities and the hospitals, vaccination coverage, prevention against the spread of Omicron variant, agriculture production for ensuring food sufficiency, investment and job opportunities. The Prime Minister coordinated essentials for development endeavours, effective use of budget to avoid wastages, efficient use of electricity and prioritizing for better public transportation system.
