Development Projects: Implementation of rural development works discussed

Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe met with the staff of Rural Development Department in Dawei and Myeik of Taninthayi Region on 4th and 5th November respectively. The Union Minister stressed the needs to make cooperation and coordination among the departments to meet the objectives and goals of the ministry.

He stressed to prioritize the development projects for rural people including roads and bridges, water supply, electricity, emerald green project, Village Development Project and vocation works. He pointed out the needs to supervise for the projects to complete in time with set standard. Officials later reported on the completion of works being implemented with the Union Budget and Regional Budget.
