Development Projects : Efforts to make Bago a clean and green city

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win, accompanied by regional ministers and officials, inspected the development projects in Bago on Sunday to improve the city’s cleanliness, greenery and appearance. 

They inspected the construction of a new market building in Bago Township and instructed officials to complete the work on time and according to standards. The Chief Minister also inspected a damaged bridge in Kali  Village and coordinated the construction of a new steel bridge. 

He later proceeded to the Kanbawzathadi Palace and inspected improvement works, providing necessary instructions. The Chief Minister also inspected the planned site for a 10,000-chicken model farm, giving instructions to support local poultry farmers and promote local chicken breeds.

The Chief Minister then inspected concrete road works at the entrance to Bago Industrial Zone and instructed officials to improve drainage, maintain roadside trees and repair damaged roads promptly. He also viewed the parks and riverbank projects along the Bago River and instructed to ensure the parks, embankments and access roads are properly maintained.
