Development Efforts: Meeting with MCDC staff in Mandalay

Acting President and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with officials from Mandalay City Development Committee on Sunday.

He praised the beautiful landscapes of down town Mandalay, recognized the dutiful service of the staff and systematic action of the city dwellers. He called for accelerating the development works while implementing the restoration efforts of post-earthquake period.

He also stressed the need to carry out air pollution test in the city. The Acting President also discussed the education promotion, agricultural development, creating employment opportunities, and MSME development in the region. Chief Minister U Myo Aung later provided updates on production of rubber products in the Industrial Zone, and the Acting President gave necessary instructions.
