Danish FM meets Palestinian PM on first day of Middle East tour

Danish Foreign Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen met with Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Mustafa in Ramallah on his first day of a Middle East tour that will take him to Israel, Jordan and Lebanon.

This is the second time the Foreign Minister has visited Israel and Palestine since October 7, 2023.

In addition to diplomatic talks, the Danish Foreign Minister will also visit the Israeli Holocaust museum Yad Vashem and meet with Palestinians in the West Bank who are at risk of being displaced by Israeli settlers.

In Jordan, Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen will meet with Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, and in Lebanon, he will meet with Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdullah Bou Habib and Prime Minister Najib Mikati.
