Cultural Exchange: Myanmar-Belarus music concert held in Mandalay

A Myanmar-Belarus cultural music concert was held at the Mandalay City Hall in Chan Aye Thazan Township on Sunday.

The event was attended by Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung and officials, representatives from the Myanmar-Russia Friendship Association, and invited guests including university students and artists.

Belarusian musicians, led by Mr. Vladimir Sukolinsky, performed traditional and modern Belarusian songs, including music about Myanmar. Myanmar artists from the National University of Culture and Arts (Mandalay) also showcased traditional songs and dances.

The Belarusian Music Troupe arrived in Mandalay in the morning of October 5 and plans to perform in Pyin Oo Lwin, Yangon, and Nay Pyi Taw. Joint performances by artists from Myanmar, Russia, and Belarus will also take place.

The event aims to strengthen cultural ties and friendship between the people of Myanmar and Belarus, supported by the Ministry of Information and the Myanmar-Russia Friendship Association.
