Disney's highly-anticipated new land 'Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge' opened its doors to eager visitors early Thursday at Walt Disney World's Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida. Footage showed people lining up around the park, eager for a first glimpse of the land's attractions.

The centerpiece is a replica of the Millennium Falcon - Han Solo's spaceship - which takes passengers on simulated flights, with riders able to take the position of pilot, gunner or engineer. Disney's first Star Wars-themed land opened in May in Anaheim, California. Analysts estimate Disney spent at least 1 billion dollars to build the two nearly identical versions of Galaxy's Edge.
